I didn't start as an officer.

I spent 12 years as a non-commissioned member before earning my commission. I've been in the ranks. I know what it feels like when leadership makes decisions without considering the people carrying them out. And as an officer, I gained the expanded view of how those decisions get made and what they cost an organization when they're wrong. I've seen both sides. That perspective doesn't leave you.

Over 18 years of service I've worked international operations, search and rescue, and long range patrol. The stakes in those environments aren't measured in revenue. They're measured in outcomes that don't have a second attempt. That's where I learned to assess fast, decide under pressure, and adapt before the situation does it for you.

I'm also a father of three and a competitive athlete. I played basketball at the university level and currently represent the Canadian Forces in international competition. Physical fitness and mental discipline aren't things I work on. They're how I operate.

I started The Delphine Group because I wanted to put that background to work for people building something real.

Working with me is a collaboration, not a prescription. I'm not here to tell you your instincts are wrong or hand you a framework that doesn't fit how you think. If something doesn't align with the way you naturally run your business, I'm not going to push it. What I will do is sit alongside you, understand how you and your stakeholders actually operate, and offer different angles and perspectives that expand what you're already doing. The goal is to make your business work better on its own terms, not mine.
